Job Watch involves a departure from traditional recruiting means, and is aimed toward improving the primary staffing goal, capture. Many companies have had less than rewarding experiences in attempting to hire highly-desirable candidates who are actively seeking new positions. They do everything right, but often the candidates slip through their fingers because of the extremely competitive nature of the market. And the availability of highly-qualified candidates is not likely to get better.

We strive to improve our clients' probability of capture by utilizing the "passive" candidate concept which assumes that a person need not be active in the job market to be a potential candidate. We didn't invent this concept, but we are dedicated practitioners. We haven't discontinued working with active job seekers, however.

Many professionals are interested in making a job change if the right opportunity presents itself, but they don't ordinarily broadcast this. Generally, they don't post their resumes, and they don't read job postings. It's what we refer to as the hidden talent pool, the analog to the hidden job market. It's likely that to some degree, the success of your employee referral program results from referrals of people who weren't actively pursuing new jobs.

We're constantly populating our database with highly-qualified candidates who fit this profile. We search for them and qualify their viability through discussions about their technical backgrounds and their goals. Resume boards attempt to offer this through "agents", but we're not aware of one that has the template sensitivity to effectively capture the subjective criteria unique to each person and company.

Identifying and effectively presenting your company's attributes is the linchpin to success in hiring passive candidates. We discuss with you those factors that differentiate your company from others, and the details of your positions that make them desirable. Further, if we don't have a candidate in our database that fits your need, we'll endeavor to find one.

If you find Job Watch appealing, we're ready to go to work for you.
